Terms and Conditions – Local Check

Local Check is a service provided by Smart Auditor for Information Technology, offering a secure cloud-based platform to verify Local Content at the entity level, in line with the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA) Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP).

By using the platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as any future updates that may apply.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: The Local Check electronic system used to verify Local Content scores.
  • Client: The licensed audit firm or registered entity using the platform.
  • Authority: The Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA).
  • Data: All financial, operational, and supporting documents submitted or shared via the platform.

2. Scope of Service

The platform enables the execution of Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP) to verify Local Content in accordance with ISRS 4400, including the following sections:

  1. General Information.
  2. Local Content Evaluation.
  3. Labor.
  4. Goods and Services.
  5. Capacity Building.
  6. Depreciation and Amortization.

3. User Obligations

  • Provide accurate and updated information in accordance with audited financial statements.
  • Maintain account confidentiality and do not share credentials.
  • Upload supporting documents in accepted formats (PDF, Excel, Word).
  • Do not upload or share data that violates Saudi laws or regulations.

4. Smart Auditor Responsibilities

  • Provide a secure electronic environment compliant with Saudi data protection regulations.
  • Continuously update the platform to comply with LCGPA requirements.
  • Provide technical support during official working hours.

5. Confidentiality

All data and documents uploaded through the platform are strictly confidential and shall be used solely for Local Content verification purposes. Smart Auditor shall implement appropriate measures to protect data from unauthorized access or misuse.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights, including software, design, and content, belong to Smart Auditor for Information Technology. Copying, modifying, or redistributing any part of the system without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

Smart Auditor shall not be liable for any errors resulting from incorrect data entry, unauthorized account use, or temporary service interruptions due to maintenance or technical reasons.

8. Amendments

Smart Auditor reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified via email or platform announcements.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Riyadh.
